Japanese Friendship Garden in San Jose, California is patterned after a garden in Okayama which is San Jose’s sister city in Japan. Normally the pond is stocked with Koi but someone dumped sick Koi into the pond and all the Koi died.

How cool. I live in SJ and did a photo run in this park as well. That day I saw kids feeding doritos to the ducks. Not sure how good chips are for ducks, I’m assuming it’s not good at all!
