Washington D.C. Aerial Photography

categories: USA Travel

One great plus of the change in rules about when you can use your electronic gadgets when you fly in the United States is that you can now whip out your iPhone when you are taking off from Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C. and take pictures like this of the U.S. capital. Reagan is just across the Potomac River from the District of Columbia.

Have any photos you have taken since the change in the rules?

Some great photos, Chris! A unique perspective of the nation’s great monuments and a reason I always like to sit by the window when traveling (especially in daylight). On a recent flight back from Europe we had some wonderful views of the Greenland Ice cap, photos of which you can find here if you’d like to see: http://www.travelgumbo.com/blog/greenland-from-six-miles-high

Interesting photos. A 10 yr old could have done better with photo 3, which is incompletely labeled.
Also, sounds like you’re a fanboy. They are called “tablets”, not ip….. My non-ip…. tablet takes great photos out of windows too.
